Voting Method, Requirements, and Prizes:
- Votes can only be made by completing the online form at lnpmediagroup.voterfly.com.
- No mail-in ballots will be accepted.
- Three voters will be randomly selected to win a $200 Visa gift card.
- You must vote in at least 25 categories to be eligible to win.
Voting Limits:
- Each person may vote only once per category for the duration of the contest.
- Winning businesses are based on the number of votes submitted to the online voting ballot.
Nominee Eligibility:
- Nominees must be locally-owned organizations that conduct business within Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
- Eligibility is verified through the Business License database, social media presence, official websites, and other reasonable methods. Eligibility is solely the discretion of LNP Media Group.
Voting Period:
- Voting opens on May 1, 2026, and all votes must be received by May 31, 2026.
Categories:
- Business placement in category(s) is final once voting begins. Changes and/or additions to categories are not permitted once voting begins.
Ballot Stuffing and Security Measures:
- Votes suspected of being fraudulent such as bulk submissions, automated voting, duplicate voter information, or attempts to bypass security—may be reviewed and removed at the discretion of LNP Media Group.
- We use automated software to detect and prevent fraudulent voting practices.
Disqualification and Conduct:
- The LNP | LancasterOnline Readers’ Choice Awards facilitators may disqualify any nominee or remove votes for violating the rules, engaging in inappropriate conduct, or acting in a way that violates the spirit or intent of the competition. Examples of inappropriate conduct include, but are not limited to:
- Misuse of official logos or marketing materials
- Harassment or abusive behavior toward participants or organizers
- Misrepresentation of the competition or categories
- Attempts to interfere with the fair operation of the competition
- All decisions regarding conduct, eligibility, and disqualification are final.
Results and Announcements:
- All competition results are held by LNP Media Group.
- Winners will be announced in the Readers’ Choice Magazine, published in LNP newspaper on Sunday, August 23rd, and online at LancasterOnline.com/readerschoice
- Winners will receive a certificate, promotional materials, and bragging rights.

- The goal of the LNP | LancasterOnline Readers’ Choice Awards is to create awareness of the wonderful businesses in Lancaster County. We aim to make the competition enjoyable for all participants.
